About the Rhythm Rhyme leaderboard

Hear a rhythm once, then tap it back on one big button, and every tap plays the sound you heard: a knock, a doorbell, a drum fill, Morse code and a clapping game. Five new rhythms a day.

This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Rhythm Rhyme of all time. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.

How a run scores

  • Stop when you are done. The log sheet shows your taps over the original, your points for the take and how everyone else did.

How to climb the board

  • Do not rush after a rest. People come in early after a long gap and drag the quick pairs; the ghost track on the log sheet shows exactly where.
  • Keep your own tempo. If you tap the whole rhythm a little slower or faster, the game forgives it, but speeding up halfway through does not line up.
  • In the Morse round, listen for the spacing rather than the length of the beeps: a dot's next beep comes quickly, a dash's after a longer pause.

Periods, ties and checks

All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time. Today starts again every midnight New York time, with one ranked attempt a day.

Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.

A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified.

The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
