About the Gamefinity app

Gamefinity works as an app without an app store. Add it to your home screen and it opens straight on the Gamefinity home page, with today's Daily Games one tap away, full screen and without the address bar, like any other app on your phone. It is free, it takes up almost no space, and it is always up to date, because it is the same Gamefinity you play in your browser.

On an iPhone or iPad you add it from Safari's Share menu. On Android, Chrome and Samsung Internet install it in a couple of taps, and on a computer Chrome, Edge and Safari put it in its own window, with an icon in your taskbar, Start menu or Dock. The steps for every browser are on this page, with the ones for the device you are using first.

The app is the same site in its own window: the same free games, the same Daily Games and the same verified leaderboards, with every score checked by replaying it on our servers. Sign in with Google or Apple from your account and your name and scores come with you to any device.

FAQ

  • Is there a Gamefinity app in the App Store or Google Play?

Not as a store download. Gamefinity is a web app: you install it from your browser in a few taps, it gets an icon on your home screen and opens in its own window like any other app, and there is nothing to download or update.

  • Is the Gamefinity app free?

Yes. The app is the Gamefinity site saved to your device, so every game is as free as it is in your browser, with no sign-up needed.

  • Why can't I see Add to Home Screen on my iPhone?

In Safari, tap Share, the square with an arrow pointing up (if you don't see it, tap ⋯ first), then scroll down the list to Add to Home Screen. In Chrome, Share is at the right of the address bar. Before iOS 16.4 only Safari can add to the home screen.

  • Will my scores and streak come with me?

In Chrome, Edge and Samsung Internet the app shares the browser's storage, so your scores, ticks and streak are there. On an iPhone or iPad, and in Safari on a Mac, the app keeps its own storage apart from Safari's: sign in with Google or Apple to bring your name and scores. Ticks and streaks stay on the device that made them.

  • Does the app work offline?

The games need a connection: they load from our servers, and every score is checked there. Without one, the app shows a short offline page with a Try again button.

  • Can I install Gamefinity in Firefox?

Firefox on a computer doesn't install web apps like this one. Bookmark the site, or open it in Chrome, Edge or Safari to install it. Firefox on Android can: open its menu and tap Add to Home screen.

  • How do I remove the app?

Like any other app: press and hold its icon and remove it. On a computer, open the app window's menu and choose Uninstall. Your account and scores are not touched.
