About the Daily IQ leaderboard
Ten reasoning puzzles a day, the same for everyone and no clock: answer fast for a higher IQ-style score against today's players.
This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Daily IQ of all time. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.
How a run scores
- Tap the answer below the puzzle (or press 1–6 or A–F). There is no time limit, but the longer you take, the fewer points a correct answer is worth.
- Answer carefully (one try a question) and move quickly when you are sure: the points for a question drain the whole time it is open.
- After ten questions the sheet is graded: see your IQ-style score against today's players and how everyone did on each question.
How to climb the board
- In a number series, write down the gaps between the numbers. If the gaps don't repeat, look at the gaps between the gaps, or at two series taking turns.
- There is no deadline, but the points drain the whole time a question is open, so answer the warm-ups the moment you are sure of them: that is where the easiest points are.
- On the hard questions near the end, a few extra seconds of real thought is worth more than a fast guess: a wrong answer scores nothing, however quick.
Periods, ties and checks
All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time. Today starts again every midnight New York time, with one ranked attempt a day.
Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.
A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified. A person also checks the top 10 scores.
The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
