About the Word Search Rush leaderboard

A timed word search: drag across the hidden words in three grids that grow from 8×8 to 10×10, and clear them all before the two-minute clock runs out.

This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Word Search Rush of all time. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.

How a run scores

  • Find a word from the list in the grid. Words run across, down or diagonally, and from the second grid on some read backwards.
  • Clear all three grids before the two-minute clock runs out: the seconds you have left become bonus points and your time on the fastest-clear board.

How to climb the board

  • Hunt the rare letters first. A Z, K, W, V or Y stands out in a grid far more than an E or an S, so scan the list for the word with the most unusual letter and look for that letter.
  • From the second grid on, search for each word's last letter as well as its first, because a backwards word starts where you would expect it to end.
  • The clock keeps running between grids, and the third grid holds the longest words, so keep your eyes moving and leave the hardest word for last only when you have to.

Periods, ties and checks

All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time. Fastest ranks clear times, quickest first, and only counts runs that reach the goal.

Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.

A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified.

The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
