About the Slide Snap 3 × 3 leaderboard

A picture sliding puzzle against the clock: slide the tiles of scrambled pictures back into place, on 3 × 3, 4 × 4, 5 × 5 or 6 × 6 boards.

This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Slide Snap’s 3 × 3 mode of all time. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.

How a run scores

  • Solve every picture of the run (four 4 × 4 or 3 × 3, three 5 × 5, two 6 × 6) before the two-minute clock runs out, in as few moves as you can.

How to climb the board

  • Solve the top row first, then the left column, and keep finished tiles where they are: the last two rows (or the last two columns) are solved together at the end.
  • Watch the FEWEST number. Wandering detours cost efficiency points, so before you slide, picture where the gap needs to go next and take the short way round.
  • To place the last two tiles of a row, park the last tile where the second to last belongs, slide the second to last tile under it, then rotate both into place together.

Periods, ties and checks

All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time.

Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.

A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified.

The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
