About the Pleatly leaderboard
A daily paper folding puzzle: picture the folds, then drag a square of origami paper over itself until it matches the shape on the card, in as few folds as par. Five sheets a day.
This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Pleatly on that day. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.
How a run scores
- On the first sheet the shape is also outlined on the paper, to show you how it works. From the second sheet on it is only on the card, so picture the folds before you make them.
- Fold all five sheets before the timer runs out.
How to climb the board
- Read the card like a map: its grid has the same 8 by 8 cells as the sheet, and the two darker lines are the sheet's middles, so count from an edge or a middle to place the shape before you fold.
- Take a moment before each fold: undo puts the paper back but the fold still counts, so one well-pictured fold beats two quick guesses.
- Stuck with time running out? A match of 80% or more can be handed in as CLOSE ENOUGH for up to 599 points instead of nothing.
Periods, ties and checks
All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time. Today starts again every day at midnight New York time, with one ranked attempt a day.
Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.
A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified.
The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
