About the Orbit Hop leaderboard
Launch a little red rocket from planet to planet with one tap: time each launch to the glowing window, slip through asteroid belts and see how far you can hop on three rockets.
This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Orbit Hop this week. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.
How a run scores
- Keep hopping until your three rockets are lost: the orbits get faster and the windows shorter the higher you go.
How to climb the board
- Use the first three planets to learn the feel: the bright core of the glowing arc is a perfect launch, aimed at the next planet's center, and perfects in a row climb from 50 to 150 bonus points. Once the arcs are gone, aim for that same moment.
- A perfect launch also sets up the next hop: it lands you where the next window comes along quickly, so a perfect streak is a faster climb too.
- Gold planets pay 300 points but their window is narrower: take them when you are on a streak, and think twice on your last rocket.
Periods, ties and checks
All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time.
Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.
A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified. A person also checks the top 10 scores.
The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
