• Press Space or Shift to dash: a quick burst in the direction you are moving that makes you invulnerable for a moment.
• Watch the spawn gates along the walls: a beam of light marks where an enemy arrives one second later, and arrows on the edge of the screen point at enemies outside the camera's view.
• Destroy enemies to drop score gems. They fly to your ship on their own and add to your score.

• Protect your multiplier. At ×8 every kill is worth eight times as much, so a run without a hit can score several times more than a sloppy one.
• Go for a supply drop between waves, not through the middle of one. It lies on the floor for eight seconds, so you can often finish a group first.
• Save the nova for an emergency or a crowd: when you are cornered, or when a wave and a gunner volley close in at once. Picking up a second nova sets off the one you carry, so use the first before the next drop.

All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time.

Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.

A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified. A person also checks the top 10 scores.

The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
