About the Letter Grid leaderboard
Find words in a 4×4 grid of letters: trace them through touching tiles before 90 seconds run out. Long words score big.
This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Letter Grid this week. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.
How a run scores
- Find as many different words as you can in 90 seconds; longer words and quick streaks score the most.
How to climb the board
- Take the easy three- and four-letter words fast to build a streak, then spend the calmer moments on five- and six-letter words, which score far more.
- Avoid guessing when a streak is running: a made-up word resets it, while taking a second to be sure keeps the bonus going.
- Read the missed words at the end of each round; the same letter patterns come back, and spotting them is how scores climb.
Periods, ties and checks
All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time.
Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.
A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified.
The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
