About the Hold Fast leaderboard
Hold every glowing pad on a sunset console until its ring fills, with up to four fingers on your phone or tablet. Let go too early and it cracks.
This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Hold Fast of all time. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.
How a run scores
- Survive 90 seconds: three mistakes (a cracked pad, a burnt-out fuse, an amber pad held too long or a red pad touched) end the round.
How to climb the board
- Read the notches before you press: a pad with many notches pins that finger down for up to three and a half seconds, so press it with the finger you need least.
- Press chord pads together: pads that finish at the same moment all count every pad you hold, so four pads pressed as one pay 400 points each plus the full chord bonus.
- Go for the perfect press: landing within 0.4 seconds of a pad lighting up adds 50 points when it completes, and quick presses keep more pads charging at once.
Periods, ties and checks
All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time.
Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.
A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified.
The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
