About the Halfway leaderboard

One straight cut: split paper shapes into exact halves, thirds, quarters and tenths. 755 shapes, new ones every run, until three cuts are way off.

This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Halfway of all time. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.

How a run scores

  • The shape splits along your line and each piece shows its share of the area. The small piece counts: the closer it is to the target, the more points, up to 1,000.

How to climb the board

  • Any direction works: every direction has exactly one line that gives the right split. Pick the direction you can judge best, often straight across the short side of a long shape.
  • On a spinning shape the cut is judged the moment you let go, so drag quickly and lift when the shape is where you aimed.
  • Take your time. Speed scores nothing, a missed line costs nothing but seconds, and Endless only gets stricter as you go.

Periods, ties and checks

All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time.

Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.

A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified. A person also checks the top 10 scores.

The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).

Automated or assisted play is not allowed on ranked boards. A person checks the top 10 scores and may hide any that break this rule.
