About the Droply leaderboard
A daily word game: drop thirty letters into five columns and make words in straight lines, across, down or diagonal, read either way. No clock.
This board ranks every signed-in player’s best verified score in Droply this week. Each player is listed once, with their best run: a better run replaces it, a worse one leaves it where it is.
How a run scores
- Fill all 30 cells: every word adds a bonus at the end, and a board with no dark tiles adds 100.
How to climb the board
- Read the next two letters before you drop: leave the top of a column open for an S or an E that is on its way.
- Columns read upwards in the order you drop them, so build a column bottom to top like a word written backwards.
- Short words stack up: three letters inside a longer word are free points, and the same word in another place counts again.
Periods, ties and checks
All-time keeps each player’s best since the board opened. This week starts again every Monday at midnight New York time. Today starts again every day at midnight New York time, with one ranked attempt a day.
Equal scores share a place, and the run finished first is listed first.
A run records only your inputs. Our server plays them again with the same game code, and only a score the replay matches is verified. A person also checks the top 10 scores.
The board lists every player, guests under their generated name. Sign in with Google or Apple from a result to keep your scores and pick your own name. Bots, scripts and other automated or assisted play are not allowed (see our terms of use).
